Yes, it definitely sucks. I have even missed having to deal with Bell-san on a daily basis and that is not something I ever thought I would write.

I understand, though- when you get used to someone being there, no matter how you feel about them, it's weird to suddenly be separated and not able to reach them.

That is very true. But it is likely this is not a permanent thing! The Tree likes to change things up when it gets bored, and I would hope the war where nothing really dangerous happens would bore it very quickly.
