"It was a glorious and crisp fall afternoon..." We're getting closer. Ah. How about "It was a glorious and crisp fall afternoon when I was suddenly born naked from a cocoon and knowing next to nothing about myself, and I have a brother named Genius"? Now THAT's a hell of a beginning for a story, wouldn't you agree? Especially considering that all of us have the same beginning here.

Well, thank you. I wanted to make an entrance with a bang; I imagine there are only so many variations on "oh dear, I came here with no memories", after all.
