Promise was my daughter.

She was here for months. My daughter was here, I spoke to her and had no idea who she was. No idea.

Now she's gone.

Yes, it's not always pleasent when you find out you were connected to someone and the Tree only took them away before you even had a chance to figure that out.

While it was not a daughter of mine, it was someone extremely close. We were essentially "connected" to each other though service, but before I could figure it out, he was gone before I knew it.

You know, you should kinda feel proud. I talked to her a couple of times, she's a really good person, I could tell. You must've been a good Dad to raise her to be that way.

Y'know, I don't want to get any hopes up, but there's been instances of family members coming back. Even if may not mean she'll make it back soon, it means she should be out there, somewhere, so there's the possibility.
